President Lungu committed to health for all

President Edgar Lungu says government is totally committed to the
Universal Health Coverage agenda.
Speaking when he officially opened Mulobezi District Hospital to the
public, President Lungu said Government will continue to invest in
health systems that are resilient to attaining quality health care for
all.
President Lungu said the hospital, which is fitted with modern
equipment is a demonstration of government’s resolve not to leave
anyone behind in health coverage.
In a bid to enhance primary health care in Mulobezi district,
President Lungu said the government has constructed and
operationalised four health posts in the district and it will add two
more.
President Lungu further said Government deployed over 700 health
workers in Western Province.
Minister of Health Dr. Chitalu Chilufya, said the opening of Mulobezi
District Hospital is a fulfilment of President Lungu’s promise to
improve health care in the district.
Dr. Chilufya said President Lungu’s crusade for health for all is
there for all Zambians to see.
Meanwhile, the Barotse Royal Establishment thanked President Lungu for
building the first ever government hospital in Mulobezi.
Western Province Minister Richard Kapita, described the opening of the
hospital as a milestone in the delivery of health care in the
province.
